From May 12 to 13, a delegation from Codelco, the National Copper Corporation of Chile, visited DFMC for inspection and exchange. DFMC Chairman Bao Liangqing held in-depth discussions with the Chilean guests on topics such as empowering intelligent mine development with large AI models. Both sides expressed a strong willingness to deepen their cooperation.
The delegation visited the DFMC Yisite Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, the National Major Scientific Instrument R&D Center, and the Intelligent Mine Design and Research Institute, where they conducted an in-depth inspection of DFMC’s intelligent mining and mineral processing solutions. They also engaged in detailed discussions with the company's experts on relevant technical issues.
After the visit, both parties held a technical exchange meeting. During the meeting, the Codelco delegation highly praised DFMC’s achievements in the field of intelligent mining. DFMC Chairman Bao Liangqing extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the company’s strong technical capabilities and extensive experience in implementing intelligent mine and intelligent factory projects. He also highlighted that DFMC has a service center in Peru, enabling the company to effectively serve clients across South America
This exchange clarified the direction for technical integration between the two parties and established a solid platform for exploring diverse cooperation models, such as joint R&D and scenario-based collaboration. Looking ahead, both sides look forward to leveraging their complementary strengths to jointly build a new benchmark for intelligent mining—one that is safe, reliable, environmentally friendly, and highly efficient.
