On October 23rd, the 2025 (27th) China International Mining Congress, hosted by the China Mining Association, kicked off at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. As a leading enterprise in the intelligent mining industry, Dongfang Measurement & Control made a brilliant appearance with its intelligent mining overall solution—a solution exclusively selected into the advanced and applicable technologies of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). At the event, the company focused on showcasing its successful practices and intelligent benchmark achievements in a number of large-scale mining projects both at home and abroad. Moreover, relying on its leading portfolio of high-end online detection and analysis instruments, AI mineral processing large models, intelligent equipment, and integrated management and control system matrix, Dongfang Measurement & Control presented a technology feast of intelligent mining to mining enterprises worldwide. This effort won high praise from industry experts and led to the conclusion of multiple strategic cooperation agreements.
The congress, with the theme of "Mutual Integration and Connectivity, Joint Construction and Sharing", is aimed at serving mining exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises, supporting Chinese enterprises in their "going global" initiative, expanding new spaces for higher-level, more resilient, and more sustainable development, and achieving the healthy, sustainable, and high-quality development of the mining industry. The congress has gathered leaders from government authorities in charge, members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), experts from industry associations, and senior executives from leading domestic and foreign mining enterprises to jointly deliberate on the development strategies of the global mining industry.

During the conference, the series of products showcased by Dongfang Measurement & Control attracted significant attention, including high-precision online element analyzers based on neutron activation (for blast hole samples, ores, pulp, and mineral powder), X-ray fluorescence online element analyzers, ultrasonic particle size analyzers, unmanned drilling rig systems, fleet management systems, AI mineral processing large model systems, comprehensive management systems (integrating business-finance, management-control, and digital-intelligent functions), coal-rock identification and analysis systems, and drill hole depth-wise grade analysis systems. The company’s independently developed intelligent inspection and testing system can automatically complete a series of inspection and testing processes, such as sampling, sample delivery, sample preparation, analysis, and storage. At Dexing Copper Mine of Jiangxi Copper Corporation Group, this system has reduced the detection time per sample to 5 minutes, achieving a daily sample detection capacity of up to 200, with results highly consistent with manual detection, effectively lowering energy consumption, the use of hazardous chemicals, and labor intensity for personnel. Additionally, the newly launched intelligent online analyzer for grinding concentration, through real-time intelligent analysis of the internal working conditions of ball mills, can optimize grinding efficiency, enhance product quality, reduce operating costs, and provide a scientific basis for production decisions, thereby helping to realize full-process intelligence in mineral processing.
Additionally, Dongfang Measurement & Control highlighted the benchmark intelligent mining projects it has built for domestic and foreign mining enterprises at the exhibition. Domestically, the company has constructed intelligent mining and intelligent coal preparation projects with internationally leading standards for Yulong Copper Mine of Western Mining Co., Ltd. and Shaqu Coal Preparation Plant of Shanxi Coking Coal Group; meanwhile, it has created a series of first-class intelligent demonstration projects in the industry for enterprises including Dexing Copper Mine of Jiangxi Copper Corporation Group, Sishanling Iron Mine of Jianlong Heavy Industry, Yichun Luming Mining of CRCC Resources Group, and Masteel Mining of China Baowu Steel Group.
In terms of the international market, Dongfang Measurement & Control has actively expanded its global business layout and achieved remarkable results in the field of intelligent mining construction. The company has successfully implemented intelligent construction for a number of international large-scale mining enterprises, including Russia’s NLMK Group (Northern Iron and Steel Group), Tavan Tolgoi Coal Mine in Mongolia, Simandou Project of China Baowu, BHP’s Escondida Copper Mine, Holcim Group, and the largest mining consortium in Central Asia (Almalyk). By applying core products such as ultrasonic particle size analyzers, fleet management systems, intelligent mineral processing control systems, X-ray fluorescence online elemental analyzers, and neutron activation online elemental analyzers, Dongfang Measurement & Control has helped clients significantly improve production efficiency, optimize product quality, and reduce operating costs, thereby establishing a solid brand image for "Intelligent Manufacturing from China" in the global mining market.

Leaders and experts from the China Mining Association, Sichuan Provincial Natural Resources Investment Group, CRCC Resources Group, and other organizations successively visited Dongfang Measurement & Control's booth to provide guidance and conduct exchanges.
On the afternoon of the 24th, the "Forum on the Intelligent Construction of Future Mines" was successfully held. As the leading compiling unit for national industrial standards on intelligent mining and the first winning bidder for integrated solutions of national intelligent mining and mineral processing plants, Dongfang Measurement & Control was entrusted by the conference organizer to undertake this forum, presenting a high-level and in-depth feast of ideas to the industry.
Wang Jian, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, and Ma Jian, Chairman of the China Coal Processing and Utilization Association, along with other leaders, delivered speeches at the forum. The forum invited senior leaders and experts from institutions and enterprises including the Intelligent Manufacturing Standard Working Group of the National Non-Ferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee (NNSTC), Zijin Mining Group, Jiangxi Copper Corporation, and Shougang Boron-Iron Co., Ltd. to deliver special reports. Focusing on topics such as maturity assessment standards for digital transformation, AI technology empowerment, digital and intelligent transformation, and fostering new quality productive forces, the reports shared in-depth practical achievements, providing highly valuable references for the mining industry to explore an innovative path of efficient collaboration and high-quality development driven by intelligent technology amid the complex and ever-changing development landscape.
Lv Tao, Dean of the Intelligent Mining Design and Research Institute of Dongfang Measurement & Control, and Dr. Zhao Long, Assistant Chief Engineer, delivered presentations at the forum respectively under the titles Intelligence Initiates a New Journey: Charting a New Landscape for Intelligent Mining Development with Systematic Thinking and The Application of Online Element Analysis Technology in Intelligent Mining Construction. In his presentation, Lv Tao mentioned that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the intelligent transformation of mines will accelerate, and systematic thinking is the key—efforts should be made to integrate technologies to build a collaborative intelligent system, thereby improving efficiency and facilitating environmental protection. For his part, Dr. Zhao Long stated that online detection and analysis technologies such as neutron activation element analysis are of great significance to the construction of intelligent mines, as they can obtain real-time information on more than ten types of elements, optimize production, support decision-making, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
Jiang Shengcai, Vice President of the China Metallurgical Mining Enterprises Association, hosted the salon session, where experts from enterprises including Hongda Blasting, Sichuan Provincial Natural Resources Digital Technology Co., Ltd., and China ENFI Engineering Corporation engaged in lively discussions with on-site representatives.
