From September 10 to 13, 2018, Mr. Fernando Marchant, International Procurement Director of CODELCO Shanghai Representative Office, Mr. Felipe Gonzalez, Procurement Manager, and Ms. Zhang Ying, category leader, accompanied by Mr. Bao Caiyi, Director of DMFC, Mr. Zhou Hongjun, Minister of Nuclear Technology, went to the China Railway Resources Site and DFMC Headquarter for a visit.
Mr. Fernando Marchant, accompanied by Mr. Peng of Luming Mining, came to China's largest single-series molybdenum concentrator and inspected the use of the automation system, dispatching system, XRF, PSM, CM and other DFMC equipment in the field.
After the inspection, Mr. Felipe Gonzalez and Ms. Zhang Ying came to DFMC Headquarters for a discussion. At the meeting, Mr. Bao said that DFMC holds more than 90% market share in China's mine automation field. With 20 years of experience in serving large mines, it has strong technical reserves and a full range of measurement and control products, fully equipped for Chilean national copper. The branch of DFMC Chile has been established for more than two years and has been providing the highest quality and most efficient technical support and after-sales service to Chilean customers. At the invitation of CODELCO Shanghai, DFMC will also actively prepare the bid for the XRF at the Chuquicamata site.
Mr. Felipe Gonzalez spoke highly of the technical level of DFMC in the field of digital mining and online testing and responded positively to the company's overall desire for cooperation. During the talks, he also exchanged views on technical issues in CODELCO production with Mr. Bao. He also invited DFMC to visit the CODELCO site in Chile to find more possibilities for cooperation.
