In the golden autumn of September, the fruits of harvest are fragrant. From September 18th to 19th, the Jiangxi Copper Industry Chain 2025 Party Committee Meeting and the "Intelligent 'Link' Copper Industry, Digital 'Control' Future" Copper Industry Chain Party Building Work Promotion Conference were held in Dandong. Zheng Gaoqing, Secretary of the Jiangxi Copper Industry Chain Party Committee and Chairman of Jiangxi Copper, and Miao Shenggang, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangxi Copper Industry Chain Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of Jiangxi Copper, attended the meeting. Over 80 representatives from the Jiangxi Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and chain-linked companies attended the meeting. On the afternoon of September 18th, the Jiangxi Copper Industry Chain held its 2025 Party Committee Meeting. Zheng Gaoqing chaired the meeting, which was attended by members of the industry chain's Party Committee. As its first topic, the meeting focused on in-depth study of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on the security and stability of the industry chain and supply chain. The meeting also conveyed the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee Organization Department's work plan for further promoting Party building within the industry chain. The meeting also reviewed opinions and a list of needs for further strengthening and improving Party building within the copper industry chain, ultimately reaching consensus.
Zheng Gaoqing offered three suggestions for further deepening Party-building efforts within the industry chain: The most fundamental priority is to implement the requirement of political awareness and build a solid political foundation for development. The most pressing task is to activate the inherent driving force for improving quality and efficiency, pushing the copper industry chain toward high-end, efficient, and high-value-added development. The most crucial step is to build a community of integrated development, create a globally competitive copper industry chain cluster, and jointly promote high-quality development of the industry.
Bao Liangqing, Chairman of DFMC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He expressed his excitement after gaining an in-depth understanding of the joint Party-building efforts within the industry chain. He had not expected such meticulous Party-building efforts to be implemented, with a thorough and detailed approach to every step, from mechanism establishment to service delivery. This not only achieved tangible results in the integration of Party-building and industry, but also resolved bottlenecks in industrial collaboration and empowered businesses. During the meeting, DFMC reached a significant consensus on in-depth business collaboration with co-construction companies including Nanjing Port, Jiangxi Naipu Mining Machinery, Peking University Nanchang Innovation Institute, China Rare Earth (Liangshan) Co., Ltd., Xinyu Steel, Jiangxi Tungsten Co., Ltd., CITIC Heavy Industries, Nanya New Materials, Suirui Technology, and Jiangxi Guotai.
On the morning of the 18th, the participants visited DFMC together and observed on-site the company's independently developed core products and solutions for smart mines and smart factories covering multiple fields of technology, running through the entire mining and smelting industry chain, as well as a series of forward-looking new products. Through close contact, the participants spoke highly of DFMC’s product technology, and felt more practically the company's strong development strength and profound innovation heritage. In the evening, at the meeting to exchange results on the co-construction of party building among enterprises in the copper industry chain, DFMC reported to the "chain leader" and shareholder, Jiangxi Copper Group, the important scientific and technological achievements achieved since the co-construction of party building, and conducted in-depth technical exchanges focusing on the problems in the digital transformation practice of Jiangxi Copper's factories and mines. Chairman Zheng Gaoqing fully affirmed the innovative achievements of DFMC, and emphasized that Jiangxi Copper Group will continue to support the development of DFMC. 
On the morning of September 19th, the Industry Chain Party Committee held a meeting to promote Party building work in the copper industry chain, themed "Intelligent Copper Industry, CNC Future." Jiang Bing, Deputy Secretary of the Dandong Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. On behalf of the Dandong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, he welcomed the distinguished guests from afar and emphasized the deep bond between Jiangxi Province and Dandong City and their collaborative foundation for building a modern industrial chain. He emphasized that DFMC has outstanding capabilities in areas such as intelligent mining. He expressed hope that this meeting would serve as a new starting point to promote broader and deeper exchanges and cooperation between Liaoning and Jiangxi. 
In his speech, Bao Liangqing stated that Jiangxi Copper Group, as the "chain leader," spearheaded the establishment of a Party-building community, a testament to the legacy of the Red Army. Since signing the Party-building agreement, DFMC and Jiangxi Copper Group have enhanced mutual understanding and trust through joint activities and technical discussions. Jiangxi Copper Group has provided a "practicing platform" for DFMC, and the two sides have achieved a series of innovative results through their collaboration. These include the development of China's first neutron activation detection station, boasting an analysis time of less than 5 minutes and an error rate of less than 0.03%, reaching internationally leading standards. The company also developed an intelligent dispatching system and unmanned drilling rig system for open-pit mines, achieving import substitution and establishing China's first unmanned drilling rig mining area. The company's grinding expert system has helped improve ball mill efficiency by 3% and rougher recovery by 0.5%. In collaboration with Tongrui Company, the company has developed an intelligent integrated management platform, integrating multiple business systems with a unified data foundation to effectively improve production and operational efficiency. Going forward, DFMC will continue to deeply integrate into the Party-building ecosystem of the copper industry chain, working with partners across the supply chain to contribute to the safe and efficient development of national strategic resources.
At the meeting, speeches by chain companies and relevant units and enterprise representatives such as DFMC, Nanjing Port, Peking University Nanchang Innovation Institute, and Jiangxi Copper Group conveyed a strong desire to jointly promote upgrades.
In light of the achievements of Party building within the copper industry chain in recent years and the current demands of "extending, supplementing, and strengthening the supply chain," Zheng Gaoqing pointed out that to effectively implement Party building within the copper industry chain, we must consistently uphold the Party's overall leadership, deepen theoretical understanding, serve the overall interests of the industry, and build a community with a shared future. He emphasized the need to systematically tackle key technological challenges, fully leverage the "bridge and link" role of the Copper Industry Science and Technology Innovation Consortium, further deepen exchanges and cooperation with major research institutes and companies within the supply chain, and achieve more substantial breakthroughs in overcoming common key technologies and bottlenecks within the copper industry chain. Relying on high-tech enterprises such as DFMC, we will vigorously promote the deep integration and in-depth application of artificial intelligence technology within the copper industry chain, accelerating the digitalization, networking, and intelligentization of the copper industry chain.
During the meeting, companies along the supply chain exchanged in-depth views on achievements in Party building and jointly showcased innovative products from across the copper industry chain. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on supply-demand alignment and coordinated development within the copper industry chain, expressing interest in collaboration in areas such as raw material supply, technical collaboration, and market expansion. The product showcase showcased over 30 cutting-edge technological innovations from nine companies along the supply chain, providing a platform for companies to showcase their innovative capabilities, explore collaborative opportunities, and deepen win-win cooperation.
