From May 17 to 18, Cai Xuelin, Co-Chief Financial Officer of Zijin Mining Group, and her entourage visited DFMC for inspection and exchanges. Bao Liangqing, Chairman of DFMC, extended a warm reception. Both sides held in-depth discussions on key technological breakthroughs in intelligent mines and project cooperation, jointly exploring new paths for the intelligent development of the mining industry.
Cai Xuelin and her entourage successively visited the Enterprise Exhibition Center, National Major Scientific Instrument R&D Center and Intelligent Mine Design & Research Institute of DFMC. Bao Liangqing briefed them on the company’s development strategies and key scientific and technological innovation plans. Relevant department heads elaborated on the R&D and application status of the company’s self-developed products, including the Autonomous Locomotive System, Drill Rig Unmanned Driving System, Fleet Management System, Cross-belt Elemental Analyzer (Mineral), , X-ray Fluorescent Elemental Analyzer, Ultrasonic Particle Size Analyzer, Intelligent Control System for Mineral Processing and Mine Production Execution Management System.
At the symposium, Bao Liangqing expressed gratitude to Zijin Mining for its long-term trust and support. He stated that DFMC has maintained sound cooperative relations with Zijin Mining for over 20 years, jointly promoting the automation and intelligent construction of Duobaoshan, Zijinshan, Julong and Xianglong mines. As a leading enterprise in the intelligent mining industry, DFMC has independently developed a series of internationally advanced equipment and systems including industrial online detection and analysis instruments, intelligent equipment and intelligent control systems, fully covering the whole intelligent process of exploration, mining, mineral processing and smelting. The company’s overall intelligent mine solution was included in the first batch of advanced and applicable technologies by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2025. In recent years, DFMC has undertaken a number of major domestic and foreign intelligent mine projects, and is fully capable of general contracting for large-scale intelligent mine projects ranging from planning and design, construction and implementation to operation and maintenance services. Going forward, we will closely align with Zijin Mining’s global development needs, focus on highly customized intelligent mine solutions, further integrate artificial intelligence technologies, accelerate the application of our technologies and products in more mining scenarios, and boost the high-quality development of Zijin Mining.
Cai Xuelin spoke highly of DFMC’s technological innovation achievements and its capability to implement international projects. She noted that Zijin Mining is accelerating the intelligent and green transformation of its mines. DFMC boasts a comprehensive full-process solution system for mines, with continuously upgraded technologies and outstanding advantages in online detection and analysis, intelligent control, and project services, which are highly aligned with Zijin Mining’s development needs. She expressed the hope that DFMC’s technical team could go deep into the frontline of Zijin Mining’s mines, further get close to actual production, and promote the precise matching of technologies with demands. At the same time, taking this visit as an opportunity, both sides will continue to deepen technical exchanges and project cooperation, and jointly explore emerging industrial markets.
At the meeting, Lv Tao, Dean of DFMC’s Intelligent Mine Design & Research Institute, gave a special presentation on the company’s carefully developed overall intelligent mine solution. Covering the entire mine production process, the solution helps mining enterprises realize unmanned mining and build transparent and “dark factories”. Cai Xuelin and her entourage had in-depth exchanges with DFMC’s expert team on relevant technical details and application potential, reaching broad consensus on jointly promoting the implementation of products and solutions in more mine scenarios of Zijin Mining.
