From July 16 to 18, the 21st China Xinjiang International Coal Industry Expo was held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Urumqi. As a highly influential professional exhibition in China's coal industry, this expo gathered relevant departments of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Natural Resources, relevant departments of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region, leaders from mining administration departments of Central Asian countries, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, experts from scientific research institutes, and representatives of more than 800 coal and equipment manufacturing enterprises. Focusing on hot topics such as high-quality development of the coal industry, green and low-carbon transformation, and intelligent construction, participants conducted in-depth exchanges to explore new development paths for the industry.

DFMC brought its integrated intelligent coal mine solutions designed for three major application scenarios, including open-pit mines, underground mines, and coal preparation plants, making a remarkable appearance at the expo. The company comprehensively demonstrated its core technologies, innovative products, and typical application achievements in the field of intelligent coal mines, promoting the coal industry to accelerate its transition toward a new stage of safe, efficient, and green development.
DFMC’s integrated intelligent coal mine solutions cover the entire production and operation process of coal mines, including mining, transportation, separation, ventilation, coal washing, safety assurance, and operation management. The solutions can provide coal enterprises with intelligent construction capabilities integrating perception, analysis, decision-making, and control.
The core products exhibited at this event included the unmanned drilling rig operation system for open-pit mines, intelligent truck dispatching system for open-pit mines, unmanned rail locomotive operation system for underground mines, intelligent inspection and laboratory analysis system, intelligent dry separator, high-precision online coal quality analyzer, ultrasonic particle size analyzer, intelligent coal preparation control system, intelligent belt tear analysis system, intelligent industrial robots, and other products. These products fully highlighted DFMC’s advanced technological accumulation in the fields of detection and analysis, intelligent complete equipment, intelligent control, and mining digital platforms.
Among them, the drilling rig unmanned operation system independently developed by DFMC has achieved large-scale implementation and application in multiple large open-pit mining areas belonging to enterprises such as CHN Energy, China Coal, SPIC, and JCC. According to the appraisal organized by the China Association of Work Safety, the relevant technological achievements have reached an internationally leading level.
After the high-precision online coal quality analyzer was put into operation at Huajin Shaqu Coal Preparation Plant of Shanxi Coking Coal Group, the standard deviation of heavy-medium clean coal ash content was only 0.242%, helping increase the total clean coal recovery rate by more than 0.6%. The overall project has reached an internationally leading level. According to the data in 2025, the heavy-medium clean coal recovery rate of the plant increased by 0.42%, the total clean coal recovery rate increased by 0.25%, and the accumulated economic benefits exceeded RMB 10 million. Relying on this system, the plant has established the first standardized intelligent heavy-medium separation workshop in Hebei Province, and has also achieved a new breakthrough in key technologies for heavy-medium coal preparation under complex coal quality conditions. Currently, the analyzer has been promoted in batches and applied at Qianjiaying Mine and Lvzhuotuo Mine of Kailuan Group.
In recent years, DFMC has successively implemented intelligent upgrading projects for coal mining and coal preparation for enterprises including CHN Energy, China Coal, SPIC, Xinjiang Coking Coal, Datang, Ningxia Coal, Shouwang Coal, and Huaibei Mining. Among them, in the Shouwang Coal project, DFMC helped the enterprise establish a full-chain intelligent service system covering “detection–control–maintenance–management”, and deployed 14 intelligent systems, including intelligent dense medium separation, predictive equipment maintenance, and an intelligent integrated management platform.

After project implementation, the coal preparation density in the mining area increased by 3%, the ash content of clean coal removal was improved by 1.3%, the clean coal recovery rate increased by 1.5 percentage points, and the overall production capacity increased by 18%. The project effectively improved coal preparation production efficiency, coal resource utilization rate, and safety management level.
With the continuous acceleration of intelligent mine construction in China, Xinjiang has become an important region for mining technology application due to its abundant mineral resources and broad development potential. To better serve local mining enterprises, DFMC established a branch company in Xinjiang and built a localized technical service team. Based on regional mining production characteristics and enterprise requirements, DFMC provides professional and customized technical solutions as well as continuous service support.
At present, DFMC has implemented the Energy Integrated Management Platform and intelligent coal preparation plant projects for Xinjiang Tianlong Hope Group and Xinjiang Coking Coal, helping local mining enterprises improve their safety production level and digital management capabilities.
During the exhibition, leaders and experts from coal and energy enterprises including SPIC, CHN Energy, China Coal, Xinjiang Energy, Zhongtai Group, Xuzhou Mining Group, Xinfa Group, and TBEA Tianchi Energy, as well as industry associations including the China National Coal Association, China Electrical and Mechanical Association, and Xinjiang Mining Association, and research institutions including China University of Mining and Technology, conducted detailed discussions with DFMC’s technical team on important topics such as high-precision coal quality analysis, intelligent unmanned equipment applications, and expert control of coal preparation processes.
The two sides reached positive consensus on further deepening technical cooperation, promoting project implementation, and advancing the integration of industry, academia, and research, laying a solid foundation for long-term strategic cooperation in the future.
